Joey - JoJo. Joey was named for the Red Wings Arena and boxer Joe Louis because of his front paw play and because I'm a big fan of hockey and he is learning to be a fan too!

Toes, slippers and running thru the house like a big dog, wresting with toys and blankets, treats, being in the kitchen when I'm cooking meat, and he loves everyone. He also has just learned to sit up and play pattycake for attention. It is so cute!
flying water in any form - the boy needs to understand that he won't melt if rain touches him. I also suspect he does not care for photo opportunities - that means he has to stay still and he is an active little guy!
he likes everything for a few minutes at a time and then finds something new to love.
He is on Natures Choice --- but he loves the smell of meat and has enjoyed tasting it too a few times. He can't have any people food though - it will shorten a dogs life span.
He is not quite used to having a harness on so on walks we haven't gotten far - he loves being free to run the house
snuggling up and kissing - he is a pure lovebug until is down chasing your slippers
I lost my beloved Tim, a bichon frise on Feb. 18, 2004. Tim had bladder surgery for a stone and did not do well. I became a member of the SMALLPAWS@ organization soon. I wanted to help other bichons out of the puppy mills, the worst being the amish puppy mills. Joey's parents were rescued from a cruel environment and their puppys were born at the SmallPaws@ Veterinary Clinic in Oklahoma. As I helped working to raise money to buy their freedom, to provide for these fluffy babies care - I seen a photo of my Joey and I knew here was my new baby boy. He is a delight and has added new life to my home. Even though house breaking is proving to be a challenge the bond Joey and I have makes the challenges so minute. The love and joy I receive daily is healing my heart. I will never, ever forget my Tim, but Joey is a sparkling new love in my life. We will soon begin the adventure of being in puppy training classes and socialization - and I plan to make a bumper sticker to proclaim what a genius he is in school - lol!
Oh well, I'd rather be guilty of loving my dog too much - than being apathetic and not loving anything or anyone at all. I love my baby boy!
Joey moved --- and now living in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Joey has a older foster brother now named Humphrey, but we call him Bogey for short. So it's now the Jo & Bo show. Bogey is a rescue from eight years of life in a puppymill. He is shy but smart and loves being free to run, chase, snack and just being a Bichon. My mom and new dad -- (mom got married last March while she was in the hospital for a long time) are spoiling us rotten. My new brother is the handsome guy with the big eyes and red/white/blue kerchief on. Mom promises to figure out her digital camera and take a new photo of me, because I'm a big, handsome guy too!
