i almost drowned and daddy saved me

oh, we went to our regular park with the river and the river forks to make a creek to make an island. well, the creek part didn't look deep or fast. i guess there was an undercurrent. i'm a strong swimmer, and i got in a current. mom and dad saw that i was'nt going anywhere with swimming. i was just staying in place. then they saw the panic in my eyes, they turned into big saucers! dad threw stuff out of his pockets and jumped in. mom had to try to keep my brother away, cause henry wanted to help. mom didn't want 2 doggies needing help. dad struggled with the current caught me and held onto a branch. the branch broke....he threw me to the side, although the bank was taller than he was. no ground to get ahold of. dad found an area big enough for him to get out part way. i'm 90lbs. and he lifted me above his head and pushed me onto the bank. what a father's day adventure that was. we are ok, shaken and freaked out. we got to sleep with mom and dad last night. mom was going crazy thinking she was gonna loose dad and i. she had a hard time keeping henry back. so that was our day we had to walk back in pouring rain to the car. we're all real tired.
