Arrival Story: I spent almost an entire day looking at beagles on the internet one Friday at work (shhhh I was working!) and by the end of the day I had to have one. We wanted a friend for Bella and since she is half beagle, I figured that a beagle would be similar to her in temperment and size and all. I was wrong on too many levels! I went to Petsmart to see the adoptables and I saw a girl with a beagle puppy and asked her where she had got it. We drove out to the place where she had sent us and it was out in the country and pretty run down. They had hunting beagles (should have been a sign!) and there were only two puppies left. Aggie was the more beautiful of the two so she came home with us. She spent a long time getting rolled around the yard by her big sister before she got bigger than her. Bio: Aggie has to work hard at being "good". She is an amazing little girl. I am very proud of her as she was a monster as a puppy. Lots of love,patience and TONS of treats later...... Forums Motto:

Wow, Bella was on here writing her life story and all..... She is wordy like that. She is one of those dogs that give real dogs like me a bad rap. I try to remind her that she is a dog but she thinks that she is human. She is so dainty and prissy, I love her though. I am so glad that I feel better now. I was sick and missed my walk Monday. Now I am so full of energy that I could pop! Momma played with me with the laser light last night and that was fun but I am so ready for my W.A.L.K. Momma spells it like that and thinks that we cannot spell.....well, I cannot but Bella tells me what it means. One day, I am going to catch the little red rabbit in the laser light. I run so much after it that my tounge falls out of my mouth and I drool. Momma says that I am a spazz. Momma also spells T.R.E.A.T. and I know when she says Bath that I need to run and hide under the table or in my bed and I try to make myself really small so that she does not see me I hate baths and ear cleaning and medicine but I like Brushateeth because it tastes good. I know that when I came to live with my momma I did not like anyone too much. Later on I started to really,really like my daddy. He would take me out of prison and let me sleep on the couch with him sometimes. Momma said that he was inconsistant but I think that he was nice. Eventually momma said that she did not care if I pee-pee ed on the floor because she realized that I was not just being a brat but that I had some issues with being in a kennel. I still do, I hate it but momma told me that I did not have to go into one anymore. My momma and I have really bonded, I understand her SO much more and she understands me too. We are SO much alike it is no wonder that we bumped heads sometimes! She could not understand why I was such an independant puppy! Puppies are supposed to stay near people but I would roam off by myself and not need people. Now I have learned that people=good things, it took a while but I figured it out. She has learned that I may not be freakishly intuitive like Bella but that I am smart in my own way. When I started to be more Saint Agatha than Bad Aggie, everybody adored me. My momma knew all along that I could do it and she says "HA! told you all so." then she says "I love you so much, Aggie, I love you SO much." and I do not know what those words mean but I like it when she says that to me......
Agatha Regan, I had no idea what I was in for when I brought your little rolly,polly self home! You have taught me to laugh at myself and the world, even if you are in the process of destroying it! You have taught me to bend to the needs of others and that kindness is the best educator in the world. For every lesson that I have taught you, I too have learned a lesson. As I taught you to be quiet, to listen, and to wait........I too learned patience and restraint. From you I learned that each individual is different but that every living creature just needs kindness and understanding to reach its full potential. I am grateful everyday, to you and for you.
