Arrival Story:
I bought her a couple of months before I finished college from a local woman with a pug she periodically bred. The breeder called us to pick her up just before she turned five weeks old (which I now know is illegal, not to mention completely unethical and inhumane), because she was tired of having the puppies in her mudroom. (This is just more evidence sheâ€™s soulless â€“ have you ever seen a pug puppy? There is not much cuter, sweeter or more vulnerable than a teeny, smashed-faced, bug-eyed pug puppy.) So my parents, the martyrs, took her in until I finished classes and completed a cross-country move. Then Chloe and I took the Nationâ€™s capital by storm (and I doubt itâ€™s fully recovered).
