Pixie loved swimming or sitting in her kiddie pool. She also loved going for walks and playing with her little brothers Tucker and Rooney.

Arrival Story:
Pixie was a dog who never had a stable home until she came to us. She came to us through our vet who also ran a small shelter. Pixie and her daughter Jenny where living with their old owners who wanted to foster her until she found a new home.
We went originally to look at Jenny but ended up falling in love with Pixie. My sister ended up adopting Jenny. Pixie became a vital member to our family and we never regreted bringing her to her forever home.
Bio:
Pixie died on the 29th of June. She accidently got out of our home and ran off. We found her struck by a car but still alive. We rushed to our local Animal Hospital where the concluded she had such severe head trama and so many broken bones it would be better to just end her suffering.
We agreed it was the right thing to do and with heavy hearts lost our big girl. With my wounds still open and sore from losing our beautiful girl we have welcomed Disney to our home. I feel like Pixie brought Disney to me as she was my dog and Disney is now also. I see so much of her in him already.
I will never forget her and she will always be dear to my heart.
