Huck loves to bark. He adores sniffing my nephew's diaper butt. He also loves having his teeth brushed! It feels so nice!

When Phoebe steals the toy he's playing with, or when Phoebe gets to go somewhere without him.

Favorite Toy:
Huck's favorite toy is Phoebe. Ha!

Favorite Food:
The usual, plus frogs, bugs, dryer sheets, and poo.

Favorite Walk:
Huck prefers to run all over the neighborhood with Mom and Phoebe.

Best Tricks:
Huck, in addition to responding to ALL questions, will pack howl. He also says, 'I love you, Mom!'

Arrival Story:
It was time to expand the pack. I found Huck on, just like I had with Phoebe. Huck was to be my mother's dog. I wanted her to have a protector when my indentured servitude is done, and I certainly wasn't going to give her my Phoebe. So, she, Phoebe, and I went to Long Beach, MS to meet Huck. He was mangy and malnourished and yappy, but my mother loved him. Thus, a month, a neutering, and a mange treatment later, we three returned to pick him up.

'Uck still lives in Pensacola, FL. Phoebe and I, now in DC, miss Huckleberry so so very much, but he just wouldn't be happy in a small flat; our neighbors would hate his incessant barking; and he would've been a terror at the unfenced dog parks. Luckily, Huck enjoys living with his GiGi in Florida. She lets him sleep in her bed, takes him to visit his human and dog cousins (my brother and sister-in-law, their kids and dogs), walks him, and even takes him to the dog park. He has a great, bird- and squirrel-filled yard to play in and neighborhood dogs to bark at. Phoebe and I have every intention of visiting him and GiGi whenever we can. And we hope that, eventually, Huck will be able to come and live with us. In the mean time, we call GiGi and Huck every weekend so that Phoebe and Huck can bark at each other and Huck can say "I love you" to me. :^)

Forums Motto:
I bark, therefore I am.
