Arrival Story:
I had forever wanted a pug but my parents were NOT dog people. So after finally moving out and becoming financially stable my significant other said ok lets get you your puggie. Well after looking into many different breeders and finding out how exspensive it was to get a puggie of my own (not to include everything else) we decided to look into nearby rescues. At that time we also decided it would be nice to get two pugs that way both Craig and I could have one and they would have each other to keep company while we are at work. Well we were disappointed when several of the pugs we tried to rescue were rescued out by others. But one day in August I got a phone call about Mercedes and Lexus. They sounded perfect and when I got pictures I knew they were just right. Two days before my birthday on August 14th 2003. I became a pug mommy and have never been happier. Even though I havnt had my Sadie Sue and Lexie Lou long, it seems like they've been a part of my life forever!!

Bio:
Mercedes is a very short pug. Most pug owners comment about how close to the ground she is. She dosent exaclty walk either but rather hops like a bunny it is the cutest thing you've ever seen. Even though she is short and a hopper she can run like the wind and has given us quite the scare on several occassions. She just had her birthday today and is now 4 years old.
