Well, it's been 4 months since my humans got this new house and they still haven't put any curtains up! I don't mind really because they let me prop my paws up on the window sill and look out at my new neighborhood. I do admit that I'm still a little excited and unsure about things like strange cars driving by and bunnies and birds in my yard. Sometimes I get a little carried away on my new back porch. Everytime we go out in the back yard, the bunnies scatter and sometimes I get to chase them, other times, they run under the porch and I go crazy trying to locate them through the boards in the deck! I caught (and killed) my first bird. My mom was kinda sad, but she made sure to get it outta the yard before I had a chance to even play with it a little.
The dogs in the new 'hood are pretty cool except for this female a couple of houses down. She snapped at me the first time we met! I was just saying hi....uh hello! Can you say unsocial?! Then there's Max, the cul de sac socialite. His humans let him roam the street (we live in a cul de sac if you haven't figured it out) and he gets along with everyone. Ah Max, he's cool. Muck lives across the street. I'll bet he was pretty happenin' in his day, but now he's pretty old. I'm jealous of him because his humans let him eat whatever he wants! I'm restricted to only dog food. They claim it's because he won't be around for a while....poor ole boy.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know what I've been up to! My humans are going to take me camping in the mountains this weekend, but shhhh! They don't think I know!
Bark at cha later!
