We had one when I was growing up and I adored him and the breed in general. We finally got a house in 2005 and my search began!
I found Bailey in Missouri and chose him out of a litter of 13 when he was just 3 days old. :0)
He was delivered to me by the breeder in August at 7 weeks old and 14 lbs.
He is almost 2 now and about 120 lbs. But he still thinks he is a 'lap dog' and we adore him. Bio: Bailey has been all over the country in Daddy's big rig! He loves being a traveling dog - meeting new people and seeing all sorts of new places and smells! He REALLY loves playing in the snow. He has a hard time in the summer though in the really hot places like the desert of California or Arizona etc. He hides in the truck then under the AC vent on the bunk! Forums Motto: Where's the fan? Well pups, spring has sprung and this big ole dog is hot, hot hot!!! Things are goin' alright here pups. Daddy has been home for a while.. um, Mom says 4 months, whatever that is. I just know I have been one well spoiled dog since he has been home. Mom is sad and worried alot though and I can't seem to fix her. Daddy hasn't gotten in his big rig in a long time and Mom works all the time now. Now she cries some too and talks about missing her Mom... I met her once. She was a thin little woman but she skerr-ded me pups cuz she was stern with me. Not like my Daddy who lets me act how ever I want. But it makes me sad that my Mom cries and I can't make her happy.
She cried alot when my fur-sis, Whisper crossed the Rainbow Bridge last year. I don't know really what that is or why she didnt' come back. She was reallll sick, pups and I tried so hard to make her feel better but she just laid there and didn't even recognize me! Then I went out back to go potty cuz I had been with her all night and when I came back pups , she was GONE!!! I could smell where she had been laying but I couldn't figure out where she had gone... I looked and looked but I never found her.
Now Mom has a new kitty she got last fall. He is a boy. She thougbt he was girl when she got him, pups! It was so funny when she realized she had um ...... boy bits ya know? So, her I mean HIS name got changed from Kharma to Khoel! Goofy name if ya ask me but she didn't ask me. If she had I'd have named it 'Drool Bib"!!! *woof!*

Well pups, it's just such a sad day here today. Mommy is so teary eyed and nothing i do can really help her. One of my kitty sisters passed away this morning. I tried really hard to comfort Whisper yesterday and make her feel better but she just stared at me so I knew something was really really wrong. Whisper always said I had 'dog breath' and would box my nose when I put my face to hers but yesterday she just stared at me. I even nudged her (gently) and nothing. Mommy says she crossed the "Rainbow Bridge". I don't know what that is but Mommy says she isn't suffering anymore and will be a happy healthy kitty again now. So that is good. Now to get Mommy to stop cryin'
It is almost time for Mommy, Daddy and me to be home in Georgia for a bit.
We have been out on the road for about 6 weeks. I love it but I can tell Mommy and Daddy are very tired and need a break.
When we go home I will get to see my bro Bishop and tell him about all the great people I met and all the great smells I smelled! I'll also be seeing my human brother and sister, Matt and Katie. Matt pretends he doesn't like me so much but when folks aren't lookin' he gives me ice cubes and hotdogs! :0)
Katie likes to let me lay with her on the bed while she watches TV. Mom says she always has been a cuddlebug. Not sure what that is, but I guess it is a good thing??
Anyway, back to my nap. I got THREE double cheeseburgers today so I have a very fullll belly!
