Dante was a birthday present for me (March 2006), flown all the way from Iowa! I wanted a big dog but instead I got a skinny little puppy with gangly legs and big ears---and my heart just melted!! As soon as my dazed and confused little puppy was in my arms I just fell in love! I couldn't have asked for a better puppy!

Hi! Mommy didn't have to work today so she took me to PetSmart so I could get a new toy! I picked it out all by myself! Her name is Piggy and she squeaks when I play with her. Mommy also got me some new bones and treats.
While we were at PetSmart, Mommy wasn't looking so I snuck up behind a lady in the store and jumped up on her and startled her!! Mommy was embarassed but I thought it was hilarious! (And the lady said I was cute!)
Okay, I gonna go play with my new toys! Have a Happy 4th of July!!

Mommy took me to the puppy park on Sunday and I made some new friends! There were three miniature poodles there. I ran around in cirles and they tried to catch me but I was too fast! When they left me and Mommy played frisby for a while.
After we left the park, we went to Arby's and the nice man gave me some roastbeef! Mommy never lets me have people food! I must have been a really good boy that day. After we left Arby's, we stopped by to see Grandma and I gave her lots of kisses. (Grandma always sneaks me people food when Mommy's not looking!)
After we left Grandma's house, Mommy took me home and I took a nap. I hope we go to the puppy park again!!
