Hanging out of the truck window, going to see his friends at the dog park, getting his back rubbed (just petting won't cut it, lol. When he comes to sit by us, he "backs in" so we are sure to oblige him.)

Pet-Peeves:
When mom goes after my eye-boogers--ewwwww! He also hates having his beard touched.

Favorite Toy:
Any toy that Daisy has!! Actually, any toy he can get before Daisy is now bound to be hidden in a top-secret (and ever-changing) location...he stockpiles them just so she can't find them.

Favorite Food:
Fancy Feast cat food is his caviar. Then french fries and ice cream.

Claremont Pooch Park

Best Tricks:
Charlie "does" Elvis! Unfortunately not on command, but I am working on that. Working on getting a picture of him doing it!

Arrival Story:
I had done extensive research for breeds for people with allergies, and had decided a Wheaten was the dog for our family. Then I did an internet search for a pic of an ungroomed Wheaten, knowing that in the pound they wouldn't look as pretty as they usually do...and on our third trip to the local shelter--there he was!! My very first dog, at the ripe old age of 42!

Bio:
Charlie recently became a "mom"! We recently got a kitten, Zelda, who thinks Charlie is her mom. As soon as he lays down, Zelda rushes in to "nurse!" It freaked him out at first, but, like a good little "mommy" he patiently waits for her to go to sleep. The funniest thing is the pained look he gives us in the meantime, as if to say "Geez! Do you see what I have to put up with around here??!!"
