Arrival Story:
We just go Beau from a family who was no longer able to give him the time and attention he needs. Once my mom and I saw the add, we knew Beau was coming home with us. Sadly, Beau passed away 10/21/06 most likely due to heart complications. Though we only had him just over four months, I became very attached to my boy. Words can't express how much I'll miss him.
Bio:
The family that owned him prior to us rescued him from a very bad situation. He was tied up on a short leash, and all he could do was run in circles. Consequently, Beau now runs around trees and people [when trying to be walked]. He's very sweet and extremely laid back for a German Shorthaired Pointer. Beau's a special boy and we already love him to death. He's starting to come out of his shell some. It'll take some time, but he's already bonding with me.

Beau. My good old dog. Even though we just got you, you've already earned yourself a great piece of my heart. I love watching you slowly open up more with each passing day. You have, for some reason, chosen me to follow. I couldn't receive a better gift. I pray that you're happy here.
You are so laid back, I can't believe it. The way you devour people food [especially any form of potato] is down right loveable. Your circle running, while showing your sad past, is just one of your cute Beauisms. You, just like my Gunner, are scared of loud noises, so now I have two of you to comfort. I just hope that I really do make you feel safe. No one will ever hurt you again, not while I'm around.
Beau, I want you to know that I love you to death. Don't leave me.
