Bio:
Hi, my name is Buddy & my health problems started when I was 4 years old. One day my butt was bleeding, so I showed Mom & she rushed to find a 24 hour doctor. I had an anal gland rupture in October 2002 and doctor was able to repair it instead of removing it. In April 2003 the other one busted and was fixed. In June, I noticed blood when I tinkled. Mom & Dad took me to the doctor & he said I had to have surgery again to remove rocks or stones from my bladder. In August I had another peeing problem that Mom called a "UT" infection & I got to take steroids, but I didn't feel any stronger??? So, I thought all the problems were over. Boy was I wrong. In September I noticed I got really thirsty all the time & I got real skinny. Mom took to the Doctor & he said I had Diabetes . I was so scared & so was Mom. I needed insulin twice a day. After a little while I was feeling good. In October my right eye started to get blurry. I showed Mom and she took me the DR K again (I had my own parking spot there by this time) . Doctor said I was developing a cataract because of the Diabetes. I was sent to another doctor to fix my eye and it cost $1800.00 bones to remove the cataract plus hundreds of biscuits in follow up visits . Mom just bought me & Cassie a house, so she couldn't afford it. I told Ma I will be OK with one eye. Towards the end of October my left eye started to get cloudy. Mom & I know what it was, I was so scared & Mom would cry when I would get confused. I didn't understand why I could see and now Gods taking my eyes away. I'm a strong lil' boy, so I made my lil sister help me around. Mom & Dad would tie our leashes together and let Cassie walk me through the park. Sometimes she walked me into a trees... she thought that was funny, but it wasn't. In 6-8 months I was completely blind. I couldn't even see shadows anymore. In February 2005 I wasn't "OK" with being blind anymore. When people would try to touch me I use to cower in fear. I was so sad all the time & I got a little fat. Mom & Dad said its time to do something. They took me to the doctor again and had the right cataract removed. I felt like a puppy again!!! Thank you Mom and Dad I love you !!
