Gooooood ol' dogue!

Summer 2007

Life is...well, it is. The last exciting thing that happened around here was when Georgie ran away. It made me so nervous! Yeah, yeah, I guess I like her. Anyway she's back, so everything's back to normal. Oh! one other thing: it's almost time for my shots. And Mom says I need to go to the groomer's. Nooooooo! *bleah*

Fall 2006

The big news around here is that we have some new neighbors with noisy AND nosy human puppies. I get excited when they play in their yard and I run back and forth along the fence barking happily, but when they climb up on their swingset and just sit there and look at us...well, that's a different story. My hair stands all up, I growl my most menacing growl, show 'em my teeth and bark bark BARK! Then I jump as high as I can - once I got my front feet over the top of the fence - and bark some more. I know I could jump over it and get those pesky kids, but mom won't let me; she always makes me come inside! I try to tell her that they were looking at me right in the eyes and challenging me, but she doesn't listen. Bah!

Also, I'm getting along pretty well now with the other dogs. I didn't like 'em at first, but they're OK. Yeah, just OK.

Summer 2006

I have had a pretty rough couple of months. I lost my best friend Gracie last year - mom hasn't had time to put pictures up yet - and it took almost a year for me to "get over" that, when mom brought in an interloper. Then, just as I was getting used to her, mom brought in another one! Now I'm sure they're really nice dogs and everything, but I kinda liked it when it was just me. But I still get to sleep with Mom and Dad if I want to, and Mom still takes me on walks by myself down to the creek, which I love more than anything! There are so many frogs down there and I loooooove to pick 'em up and shake 'em. I don't even care that they make me a little sick; they're just s'darned irresistable!
