Santa Claus

Today was a big day for me. I went to see Santa Claus for the first time ever today. He was a very jolly fellow & I snuck him a little kiss when Mommy wasn't looking. He wanted to know if I had been a good little boy this year, I told him I had been. Then he wanted to know what I wanted for Christmas..... I thought for a wag or two, I have everything I could ever need. A woof over my head, more love than any one little boy needs, enough toys for 10 little furry boys, a nice big warm bed to sleep in everynight with my mommy....
Finally I replied to Santa that my Christmas wish was for all the little furry boys & girls that do not have families would get a family that would love & care for them... Santa chuckled & patted my little furry head & said what a sweet & thoughtful little boy you are Poncho..... He gave me a toy too....Then he wanted to know if I had learned my lesson with electrical cords? How did Santa know about that, did my Mommy tell on me? I replied to Santa, Yes I have learned my lesson & I crossed my little furry paws & told him that it would never happen again.... Santa seemed pleased with my answer.. I wonder if I will get my Christmas wish then?

After that my Mommy took me to the bakery for little furry boys & got me a treat for minding my manners so well while visiting santa... This was definatly a 2 paws up day!!!!

Christmas

Mommy & I have been working really hard on decorating my page for Christmas... I kept trying to tell her how to do it after I picked out what I wanted, but she wasn't following my instructions very well.. She finally got it I think. Now I just need to teach her how to photo shop. It's funny she has used this as an excuse to not have the Christmas decorations out yet, but I think it is just that an excuse. See last year I have this scary curosity about electricity which scares everybody... See what they forget is I either unplug stuff or wait till it is unplugged to explore. Anyway, one day while the tree was unplugged I was exploring(by the way that is what I like to call it) & put a pretty good size place in the electrical cord. When she went to plug it in later it knocked her across the room. It scared me a little at first 'cause it was just me & mommy home, but once I knew she was okay for the most part I thought it was funny... They keep talking about finding those scrunchy things to go over the cord to protect it from me... Honestly did they forget who they are dealing with... She keeps telling me that I am getting Louie the Lighting Bug videos for Christmas, I just keep watching G-pa whenever he is around 'cause he seems to know what he is doing when he is playing w/ those cords... I keep telling them that I really want to be an electrician & Mommy gets really pale everytime I mention it again.. I really don't understand why.. Well, need to go get my hair trimmed.. Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving was the best day ever!!! I got to play outside furever. They had to beg me to come in.. It was funny! My Aunt Kathy gave me some cheeze ball, I love any & all dairy products. My Aunt Lisa gave me a bag of my favorite treats, Mommy calls them puppy crack 'cause I love them so much. She thinks she is funny, see what I have to live with.... Just joking, she loves me all the bunches in the world muches, just get a little scared when she thinks she is funny. The best part of the day was getting to spend the day with my friends Buzby, Zeke & Rascal. We have sooo much fun playing! There is a really cute furry girl that lives next door to them too. I liked her lots!!! Well, need to go, still trying to get caught up on my rest from my big day.

The World According to Poncho

I HAVE BEEN A VERY SICK LITTLE BOY! MOMMY TOOK ME TO THE VETS OFFICE TWO DAYS IN A ROW & THEY KEPT STICKING A NEEDLE IN MY SIDE & LEAVING IT THERE FOREVER! SHE KEPT TELLING ME THAT THEY WERE GIVING ME FLUIDS SO THAT I WOULD FEEL BETTER. I DIDN'T EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING FOR ABOUT 36 HOURS. NOTHING FELT GOOD ON MY LITTLE BELLY! SHE TRIED ALL OF THE TRICKS! I EVEN TURNED DOWN MY FAVORITE, CHEESE! THAT REALLY SCARED HER I THINK. THE COOLEST PART ABOUT IT WAS MOMMY DIDN'T GO ANYWHERE FOR TWO WHOLE DAYS! SHE SPENT DAY IN & DAY OUT WITH ME, EXCEPT WHEN SHE HAD TO RUN DOWNSTAIRS TO DO LAUNDRY IN AN ATTEMPT TO CLEAN UP THE MESS THAT I HAD MADE BECAUSE I WAS SOOO SICK!

BUT, THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT I FEEL LIKE PONCHO AGAIN TODAY! I PLAYED GO GET IT FOR A MINUTE & I AM EATING MY FOOD ON MY OWN AGAIN! IT WAS PRETTY FUNNY WATCHING HER TRYING TO GET ME TO TAKE WATER THOUGH! SHE TRIED TO FAKE ME OUT LIKE SHE WAS DRINKING IT! SHE LOOKED KINDA CRAZY!

THEY NEVER DID FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS MAKING ME FEEL SO YUCKY! THEY JUST KNEW THAT I WAS GOING TO DEHYDRATE IF THEY DIDN'T DO SOMETHING QUICK! THEY EVEN TOOK BLOOD OUT OF MY LITTLE LEG & SAID SOMETHING ABOUT A WORK UP? DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANT, BUT I KNOW THEY ARE PRETTY RELIVED WHEN IT CAME BACK NORMAL ON EVERYTHING. THEY ONLY THING THEY CAN FIGURE OUT IS THAT I HAD A "BUG". WELL, NO DUH! I LOVE EATING BUGS!

WELL, I NEED TO GO! I HAVE LOTS OF STUFF TO TEND TO AFTER BEING STUCK ON THE COUCH FOR TWO DAYS! MY TOYS THINK I ABANDONED THEM! TALK TO YOU SOON DAIRY! LOVE, PONCHO
