Favorite Walk: Around the school. But he mostly likes to walk anyplace especially with his mom!
Best Tricks: The basics: Sit,down,stay, come(but he only does these when he wants to).He also knows how to shake,roll-over,high 5,walk on two legs and bunny hop(which is him hopping on two legs).
Arrival Story: Harley is not mine. He belongs to our dear family friend and my old middle school counselor. Harley was bought from a petstore by his beloved mom when he was very small. Before he was even brought home she brough him to her work, a middle school. She is a middle school counselor. Harley is madly in love with his mom and his job, and enjoys every single day because he gets to do what he does best, being a four legged counselor, and spending time with his mom. Harley may not be mine but I love him dearly, I don't see him as much any more but I every summer he comes over for a few days while his mom is out of town. And when ever she needs someone to watch him, she gives us a call.
Bio: Harley has been doing his job since he was a pup. And he loves his job. What is his job? you may ask. Well Harley works at the local middle school. His mom is one of 2 school councilors. (Luckily I got her as my councilor when I went to the middle school) And Harley is also a councilor. His most important job is helping the kids in the school with special needs.And those kids just love him!Some of the kids may have autism,physical disorders, or other issues but Harley never sees them he just sees a friend. I think that is one of my favorite aspects of Harley.Most of these special needs kids have "sessions" with him once or more times a day were they may just walk him, have lessons with him or just play. I don't know who loves these little "sessions" more, Harley or the kids?! He also just helps kids who just need some loving and just need a friend.He is very good at his job and loves it very much.Him & his mother are some of the sweetest greatest people ever! If their was an award for the best school councilors in the world their is no doubt they would win!

Harley is a big mama's boy. He loves his mama.That is just one reason he loves coming to work, he gets to spend a lot of time with his mom. He also loves his grandparents, when you say the words "Grandma" or "Grandpa" he perks up and cocks his head and sometimes starts getting very excited.

Harley has the lunch ladies trained well. In the morning when he comes in he gets his morning cheese at least two jerky treats. Since the first few days that he was at the school the lunch ladies were all over him.His mom brought him to puppy school in the first few weeks of owning him. He graduated pretty high but really only knows sit,lie down and come. And he doesn't always do those on command.His mom did try to teach him so tricks but didn't succeed. But the lunch ladies started to work with him and soon showed him the wonders of cheese (which he completely adores now) and taught him all the tricks he knows today: Shake,High5, Roll-over,Walk on two legs, and"Bunny Hop" (which is him hopping on two legs).
He also has about 3+ other teachers that give him treats not including the librarians.
As you can see, during the summer time he goes through a great depression. And he looses a lot of weight from not getting so many treats! (LOL)

Hey pals, sorry I haven't barked in a while!! Last Friday I had a lot of fun, the Abbygirl took a bunch of photos of me and then we went to Petco!! It was so much fun and I sniffed and sniffed. Oh and then there was the hamsters! I sat and watched them while the Abbgirl looked at something and then they did this funny thing where they would chase each other around the tank, or come up to the window!! Then I would stand up on my 2 legs and walk up to the hammy-sters try and sniff them but then they would run away. They are no fun. And then I picked out my new toy, I fluffy AKC squirrel toy! I really loved Joshy's and this one is even cooler and is a bit more my size. I got home ate a little bit and then soaked up some sun. And of coursed played a bunch. And then mama came and got me! Eeeeh! I was so happy the Abbgirl was afraid I was going to pee all over the floor! BOL. Also some good & bad news, mama didn't wind Kansas counselor of the year but she did win North East Counselor Of The Year!!! Which is still a really cool thing!!

Howdy pals!! Life has been good here actually mom went out of town with grandma on Wednesday morning and is coming home late tomorrow night. They are going because mom & me where finalists in Kansas Counselor Of The Year!! They would have taken me but Grammy was afraid one of the maids would steal me because I would spend a lot of time in the hotel room. So I went over to the Abbygirl's house, grandma was a little bit worried she asked mom all these questions about them to make sure I would be OK. BOL. Silly grammy, of course I will be fine! I love the Abby girl's house. And I have actually been getting along with Murphy & Josh! Normally I am very uptight and look for mama, and start shaking for a while. But this time I walked in sniffed the boys and my self at home. We have had bunches of fun!!! I miss my mommy but I love hanging out with the Abbygirl and "da boys".

WE DID IT! Mom just found out that we are one of the six finalists for Kansas counselor of the year!! WOOHOO! Mom is going to a special convention in March, were she will find out if she won. Right now she is seeing if the hotel she will be staying at allows pups, I hope so. I mean I like staying at the Abbygirl's house but I live for my mom and it just wouldn't be the same without her. Sigh.
Well thanks for all the barkday wishes and even the vongrats all you pups gave me when I found out me and mom were nominated! Lub you guys!
