Arrival Story:
Scout came to me in December of 05 shortly after Christmas. We got him from the Animal Rescue League in my city. He shared a kennel with his sister, another dog that wasn't nearly as cute as he was. His original name was "Rudy", although he never struck me as a Rudy. The amazing thing behind adopting Scout was that earlier that day, another family had their eye on him but left and decided to come back later that day to adopt him. The lady saw us with him and was upset because we beat her to him. I always think of that when I look at him. I'm so glad we went when we did, otherwise he may never have walked into my life.
