A little note from Mama.........

Mama said that she has seen her e-mail adding up and sees all the
lovely presents everyone is leaving. THANK YOU so much she said
to tell you..... But she just CAN'T come here right now. She just
can't. It may be a while before she can come back to read all the
messages. But she just can't come here right now.

She needs to go get a tissue. Her face is leaking.

The worst night of my life..............

Angel passed away tonight at approx. 7:45pm. This is the worst
night of my life.....for I have lost the LOVE of my life. She is gone.

OMD !!!!!! I'm a "Gaudy Doggie" !!!!

IT CAME !!! ......IT CAME !!!!!!

OMDness !!! My PRIZE came today !!! Miss Loni sent me a letter telling
me I was officially awarded the "Blues Pet Pic" !!! And the prize came !!

OMD !! Lil John's Animall of Cordova, Tenn. donated the prize.....and they
sent me some stuffed toys....and a Wubba Kong.....and OOOOOH....some
Chicken TREATS !!!!.....YUM......and a Pet Hair Pic Up thingy....(THAT is
for Mama !!! BOL BOL !!!!).....and a doggie clean-up bag holder !!....(THAT is
for Mama too !!! BOL BOL !!!)......LOTS of NEAT STUFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mama said she'd try to get some pictures of me and my goodies this
week......She said I have to get 'groomed' first.....uh....uh.....What does
THAT have to do with anything ??!?!!?!?.....uh......

Alright Mama......get that chicken bag open and let me have at it !!!!!!!!!!

Mama would like to THANK everyone that voted for me on Feb.23 !!!!

On Feb. 23.....The Children's Museum of Memphis had a Blues Clues and
Friends Event.....BLUES was there to sign autographs and take pictures and
a local vet talked about pet health and there was a basic obedience class
and all sorts of fun stuff....AND....AND.... people submitted pictures of
their doggies for a contest...... The pictures were displayed on the Museum's
movie theatre screen and the Visitors voted ...... AND....AND.......guess
what ?? ............I WON !!!!........... Can ya believe it ???? Mama got an
e-mail this morning telling her I WON !!! OMD !!! How COOOOL is that ????
Lil John's Animall is donating the prize which is a gift basket..... The e-mail
said that there was 1600 visitors to the event that day ......evidently a
BUNCH voted for me !!!!! OMD !!! This is just TOOOO COOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Mama would like to thank EVERYONE in Memphis that voted for
me .......What an HONOR to receive from the folks in Memphis !!!!!
And she'd like to thank Ms. Loni too !!

Hollywood Bound.......one day......

OMD !!!!!!!!! OMD !!!!!!!!! OMD !!!!!!!!!!! GUESS WHO just CALLED ?!??!?!??!?!?!

ANIMAL PLANET just called...!!!!!! Mama responded to an ad about
them needing Poodles for a Fashion Show and they wanted me to come
to Hollywood to be in the SHOW !!!!!! OMD !! OMD !!! I just can't believe
they called !!! They said I'd be perfect for it.....and I'd get groomed and
all dressed up and get to "strut my stuff" down the 'catwalk'.......and ......
well.....I hurt my back a few weeks ago and can't go.....Boooo Hooooo.....
BUT......BUT......the lady from Animal Planet said that they would keep
"me on file" as there would be other projects coming up in the future that
they would be interested in using me in and she'd let Mama know.....OR...
if I get better by Sunday.....to let them know.......

OMD !!!! OMD !!!! Mama's always known that I "strut my stuff" like nobody's
business......but now Hollywood wants to see me "strut my stuff" !!!!!


Jan.24,2008....... Mama has been monitoring my back....IF....IF....I
continue to act like I'm doing good......I WILL GET TO GO TO
HOLLYWOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She will check with my vet this weekend.....
and I have to let Animal Planet know by Sunday...... KEEP YOUR
PAWSIES CROSSED !!!! I'm gonna "strut my stuff" down the Animal
Planet runway !!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........Hopefully.


Jan. 26, 2008.......Well...It's OFFICIAL.....I am NOT going to Hollywood.
Boooooo Hoooooo !!! Mama pretty much knew....and she already told
the lady at Animal Planet....but she checked with the Vet this a.m......
and it's a NO GO......~*sigh*~......Well.....the Animal Planet lady DID say she was gonna keep me "on file" cause she thought they would be able to use me on a future show......so.....I'll JUST have to be patient and wait..... Mama LOVES me a WHOLE LOT more than she loves Hollywood !!! NO OFFENSE
Hollywood......but .... you know how it is.....anyway......they've got our
phone number.........

Anniversaries and Vet trips..............

Well......I told Mama that I didn't care if she was making me take a break
from Dogster...... I wanted a "diary update" or I'd pester her every chance
I get !!!! I'd leave even MORE food in all my favorite spots around the house
and I'd LICK her face for 10 whole minutes and DANCE on her chest when
she'd rather I not.....well....you get the picture..... : )

I've been on Dogster for a WHOLE year now......my anniversary was
June 27th !!! I'd have been on here sooner...but my techno-klutz Mama
didn't know how to upload photos til then....and she wasn't even sure that
she was doing it right then....but she kept her fingers crossed and it worked !!
And I've made some really really GREAT friends since then !!!!

TODAY is my 7 year ANNIVERSARY with Mama !!!! WOW !!! She said it
doesn't seem like it has been THAT LONG !!! I was not a nice little girl the
day she got me......I ran away......the very first hour she got me......I ran
away and stayed in the woods for 26 hours.....Mama liked to have fell out.
She cried and cried.....but well.....I finally got captured and well.....me
being able to get away DIDN'T HAPPEN AGAIN.....Mama made sure of that.
At least until I had bonded good with her...... It's been a great 7 years.......
I get all I want to eat.....there's no other doggies around to treat me
mean.....I am warm when I need to be and cool when I need to be and I
get enough KISSES to make up for the 3 1/2 years that I didn't get any.....
actually....sometimes I get too many kisses.....like when she insists on kissing
my head WHILE I'm trying to go to sleep........ She CAN be kinda annoying
like that sometimes....... Anyway.......7 WHOLE years with Mama !!!!!!!

In between these anniversaries....I've been to the Vet TWICE !!!! YIKES !!!!
Mama discovered a little "lump" on my head and so off I went......the vet
aspirated it and said everything was OK.....but if it came back to bring me
back in.....Mama figured a yellow fly had bitten me there.....cause it was like
a little water filled blister kinda lump..... So when it came back again.....off
I went AGAIN......and it got aspirated again.....Dr. Shea said it was like a
ganglion cyst (in humans) and would probably keep coming back.......but
wasn't anything serious.......SOOO....THAT was good !!! There's a picture me
and Dr. Shea on my page.....He thinks I am SOOOOO sweet.....HA ! He
moved wrong and I showed him what a little 'hellcat' I can REALLY be !!!!!
I acted like I was gonna EAT HIM UP !!!! He had NEVER EVER seen me
act like THAT before !! He thought I was SOOO funny !! Little old me acting
like I was gonna eat him up !!! Well......one of Mama's friends DID call me
a "Rottweiler in a Poodle Suit" once !!!!!!!!!!!

I'M getting PRUNED !!!!!

Well.....Mama FINALLY got 3 of her bushes pruned....she has one more
to go......BUT.....she said I NEED "PRUNING" !!!!!! Whaaaaaat ??!??!?!?!?!?!
Is she gonna use those BIG 'OL shear thingies on ME ?????!?!!?! It's bad
enough .... that she found a new music site and NOW...she's got the
speakers cranked up.....so I have to go hide under the covers.......but to
add insult to injury.....NOW she's gonna PRUNE ME !!!!! Uh....uh.....uh.....
maybe I can go hide under the bush she HASN'T pruned yet !!!!!!!! Gotta
go hide......later..............
