Arrival Story:
Penny showed up on my dad's doorstep. This incredibly friendly dog appeared in my dad's back yard covered in burrs and ticks. She had recently been groomed, but had been on her hown for several days. Her pads are still rough to this day. About a month before, we had to put down a puppy that we had rescued from the humane society, so my dad knew I was looking for a dog. He called me over and I gave her a well-needed bath, and took her around the neighborhood to see if she belonged to anybody. She didn't, so I made her mine. She is epitomy of sincerity and genuineness. You will not find a kinder soul in the universe.
