puppies

Mom was watching the neighbors chi girl named Jaz and she had her babies while she was here. I was so excited i watched and cried for the mommy Jaz. It took her 2 hours but she now had 4 new lil ones. Two girls and Two boys. three of them are brown/gray and one is black. They are so little my human mom let me see them and Jaz didn't say a word. I can't have babes of my own so it was so cool to watch the miracle of birth right here in my own house.
But now they are gone Jaz mom came and got her and the babes I miss them I loved to just sit and watch them in their pen.
Maybe mom well take me over to visit when they get alittle bigger.

My Mommy came home

My human mom got a call from our breeder a week ago asking if she would want to have my dog mommy. So she came home and asked daddy what he thought and right away he said " go get her and bring her home" That was a week ago this friday and what a wonderful time we have had together

Of course my dog mom being a year older than me isn't as playful as I am but we get along wonderfully. Mom even licked my ears clean today. We sleep close to my human mom on the couch during the day when she sits. My mom on the bottom and me on the top under my human moms arm.

So to indroduce you to my dog mom
Her name is Cricket Rose she is 6 lbs a tri color just like me and has one litter of pups which I came from. Tomorrow Friday my human mom takes Cricket to the vet to get her spayed, she said her babes of love well not be having babies any more. Which makes me happy cause I don't want to share my mom Cricket with any other pups.

The Day I was Spayed!

I knew something was up cuz mom was not her self. She said lets go for a ride, and like I always do i ran to the Van and with mom's help hopped into my carrier. We went for about a 1/2 hour then mom stopped got out and took me out in my carrier , whats going on, mom never uses the carrier she just takes me out and carries me.
Come to find out I was at the Vet and would you believe they took me away from mom to a back room. Whats going on I wondered...well it wasn't long and I found out. They took blood from me, trimmed my nails gave me a check-up then they put me to sleep, when I woke up oh I was so sleepy and hurt my tummy was not the same. For one thing i had lost some of my hair, and there was a large cut on my belly with glue on it. oh I am so sleepy. They also put some greasy stuff on the pack of my neck, why in the world did mom leave me in this tortue place. Everyone coo-d me and was very loving but they were doing things to me I never had done before. Then they stuck a needle in my neck, help save me mom where are you!! It seemed for ever then I heard mom in another room. Oh good she did come back for me, but why aren't they taking me to her. I could hear them talking about something they called spaying, and a micro chip...what did they do turn me into a robot. oh I am shaking I WANT MY MOM .
Finally I saw mom and I clung to her you'll not leave me again i said to myself. Mom had tears in her eyes, bad news? or glad to see me. Oh good glad to see me. She tried to put me in my carrier but no way i was going in there. So mom wrapped me in one of my blankets and carried me to the car. I happily got in my crate when it was back in the car. We got home and I cried now and then , Mom felt so bad for me I neve ate or drank anything I just felt yucky. Dad come home and gave me lots of love then Mom gave me some liquid and put me to bed. That made me feel better that liguid, wonder what it was. I woke the next day very hungry and in need of water man i was dry. I am moving better now. Wow what ever this spay thing is , I advize all my pet pals to avoid at all cost. Wonder why mom the very loving mom she is made me go through all that. Maybe someday i well understand but for now I am soaking up all the love she can dish out. Kisses All

Vet Visit

Well Mom took me to the Vet for my second set of shots.
I was so good they trimmed my nails, took my temp...imagine in my boom boom, Checked for fleas, really a pretty girl like me doesn't have fleas...geez be real. I got my first heart worm pill yuck no matter how mom tryed to hide it I ate all the cheese around it an spit it out. Not the thing to do cause then I got it put down my troat. (Remeber next time eat the dumb thing) I got two viles of wormming medicine. Not to bad I guess. I gained weight too well I am a puppy after all so I guess it is allowed I weigh 3 pounds now. I'll have to watch that not to get to big. Got to keep my girlly figuare ya know.
Mom set up my next app. I well get spayed then, what ever that is I hope it doen't hurt, Mom told me it is so I don't have puppies....why would I want puppies! I'm the queen not a baby machine. Guess I will get the last of my shots then too.
So in the afternoon Jazz my friend next door and I took our mom's to the local swimming hole. Oh it was so nice I went swimming again I am sure good at that, Mom is so proud of me that i know how to swim. Not Jazz she almost went under guess she is a dry land girl. Afterwards we both sat in our lounge chairs and rested in the sun while our moms got wet. What a wonderful afternoon we all had.

Red Spots

July 9 2006
I was sick today I vomited twice and then all of a sudden I had red spots on my belly and legs. Well let me tell you when Mommy saw this she panicked. She had daddy look and started crying, Daddy said I had picked up a dead mouse when out potting that is probally why I vomited, even tho Daddy got it away from me as soon as he seen me with it. But the red spots no answer for them. So mom called the vet ON A SUNDAY she cryed and held me and kissed me and talked so nice to me while waiting the long 20 minutes for the vet to call back, well he told her it was more than likely bug bites to give me a little Benadryl, and a little pepto for the vomiting but I could come in if Mom
wanted me to. Well Mom decided to give me the medicine first to see how I
would do. In an hour the red spots had almost disappeared and I never got sick again. My Mom was so happy yep you guessed it she showered me with lots of hugs and kisses again. Parents they are so funny, but I am glad Mommy worries and cares for me so much.

Lake

Today 7-7-06 I went for my first swim...
We went to a real big lake the water was a pretty blue and there were lots of little fish swimming all around the shore. It was great , I swam about twenty feet back into shore, (my cousin Rae took me out and put me into the water) I did that about 3 times. Then my Mom went out in the water and called me from shore and I swam right out to her. It was so cool, Mom would dry me off each time, she hugged and kissed me and told me how proud she was of me. Of course I beamed with pride. I would bask in the sun till I went in again, it was so refreshing. I went with six people kids and you know what there was only two of them that could swim. So I was proud I could swim too.
Mom also brought cheese crackers that we all snacked on, you know swimming makes you hungry and tired I slept almost two hours afterwards
Sure can't wait till we go again.

Baseball

Today I went to my first baseball game , it was alittle loud and when people yelled it scared me. But Mom told me it was alright and hugged me. Two little kids stopped by to say ...aw ...and loved me up, yep I gave them lots of kisses. A grown - up asked all about me too, she had a large pup I think a lab. But she had him in the car when she came over to see me. (wow sure was glad about that I am as small as his feet) The people I was with had a picnic of chicken wraps I had a little bite of the chicken Mmm was that good.
Mom also had bought a flat of fresh strawberries and after she had a bite she let me lick the juice Mmm that was good too. People food I could learn to like that.
When Mom and i got home there was a big box that came in the mail from my Aunt in Florida she sent me a whole bunch of clothes she had made for me. Wow I well be the best dressed Chi this winter...I still have to grow alittle to fit them. But wow is she good and fancy well my new party dress says that. When I fit in them Mom said she would take pictures and show everyone.
Well i am tired it has been a long day so night night everyone
