Arrival Story:
My family looks after dogs in our home when people are on vacation and Sandy happened to come to our house while her owners were away. I fell in love with Sandy. She became my shadow. Her owners got a second little dog named Oliver, also a cockapoo and both Oliver and Sandy came to stay at our house anytime that their owners went on vacation. In March of 2003, one of the children from Sandy's family developed severe allergies to the dogs so they had to seek out a home for them. They asked if we would take the dogs and since then, we've enjoyed having both Sandy and Oliver as members of our family.

From time to time, Sandy has seizures. She's also very shy.
