He spent his first 7 months in Southern California learning to eat shoes, library books, purses, bedspreads, and pillows. He came to us thanks to a breeder in Modesto who let us know he was available to live with us.

Shorty's full name is Shorty von Hatfish, because the dog registrar misread the handwritten application that said Shorty von Haifisch (which means Shorty the Shark in German).
