Who else thinks the voting for this years contest SUCKS!

Does anyone else find it near difficult to find your friends to vote for them without having to go through each and every entry?!?! GRRRRR!!!! Who's stupid idea was that?!

Drama ~ Drama ~ Drama

Okay, it has been WAY TOO LONG since I've been able to get on here and update my diary. I had it all planned out what I was gonna tell y'all about but then we had a little excitement around here the other day and everything I was thinking about just left my head. Can't remember a thing!

Anyway, this Tuesday mom worked in the yard all day long and it was H-O-T! But I didn't mind, I just wanna be with my mom. She leaves the door to the porch open and the ceiling fan on so Sally & I can get out of the sun anytime we want. She keeps plenty of water around for us too, and she won't let me just suck it down like I want to GRRRR!

Well it is my duty to chase the lawnmower when mom has it on the other side of the fence. That is so much fun! I've already injured myself once this year doing this, tried to turn too fast one day and twisted my leg. Didn't let that stop me though, just kept right on running ;-) Back to Tuesday...we were outside almost all day long and mom was getting ready to stain/seal the hot tub. She was on the phone with one of her friends and she noticed that my belly was really big. All I knew was that I couldn't get comfortable, I was soooooooo hot and I was panting like a dog (ha ha!).

Next thing I know mom hangs up on her friend, throws me in the truck and takes off like a bat outta *$&#. Luckily mom used to work for the PD here or she probably woulda been in trouble for speeding. I didn't know it, but we were going to the vets office......I HATE THE VETS OFFICE!!! Halfway there I threw up all over the back of the truck. I just knew I was gonna be in for it, but mom was actually glad I threw up and told me what a good boy I was...HUH?! What's up wit dat?! Oh well, as long as I'm not in trouble and I did feel a little better.

We got to the vets office and mom didn't even bother shutting or locking the car, and if you know my mom at all you know this is NOT like her at all. Before I know it everyone is hovering over me, feeling of my belly - sticking something up my butt (didn't like that one bit!) and then they took me into another room away from my mom. K, now I'm really not liking this and I'm not sure what's going on either. All I know is that I'm feeling better, but still not very good and I could tell my mom was getting upset and that is completely unacceptable to me. Who upset my mom and WHERE ARE THEY?!!!

The room they took me to was weird and they took some kind of picture of me. But before they could take the picture I threw up again....A LOT! What is going on?! And where is Sally? She always comes to the vet with me. I'm not getting a good feeling about this at all. Doc took the picture for my mom to see and told her something about her not knowing how lucky she was and something about dodging a bullet. Okay, who had a gun? I never saw a gun. What bullet! Why won't anybody 'splain this to me?!

After mom talked with the doctor for a bit she scooped me up and took me back home. Doc said something about bloat and burping, but I'm still not sure I understand. This is all very frustrating to me. I just wanna go home!

So we get home and I'm thinking everything should be back to normal, but that's what I get for doing my own thinking I guess. Uh....ooooooooooooookay? Why is mom closing all the blinds and putting a sheet over the glass in the door. Does she realize that I can't see out now to patrol the street? M'kay, this is too weird for me. She won't let me outside unless it is to go potty and even then she won't let me even trot around the yard. The only saving grace about this whole situation is that I farted ALL NIGHT LONG and mom never once called me out on it or said "RUUUUUDY!!! P!!!!! U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" like she normally does.

I don't know what this is all about, but I've about had enough of it. HUMANS ARE INSANE!!!!!!
