Arrival Story:
I was told by mom that Lucy, their nine year old YorkiePoo was getting old and over weight and she told dad that if they got a new baby that might help Lucy to loose some pounds and extend her live. But since I have been around the family and learned the truth, I now know mom used the story to convience dad to get a puppy, mom was needing a baby. And she choose me out of all the MS babies they looked at. I was a small runt and picked on by larger sibblings. I have a great home and lovin' it.
Bio:
Life is a great adventure, for the most part I'm lovin' it. But I don't care much for the place they call the Vets. Funny smells and noisy, I do like the Shelia the Vet lady, I don't like the guy Vet, he is grabby and I don't like to be gone after by someone I don't know. I had itchy ears from playing in the water too much and the guy vet put something in my butt,,,what's wrong with that, it's my ears not my butt that needs attention. Anyway my ears are better now. Mom had to put some stuff in them, and I couldn't play in the water for a week:( I have been introduced to new family members, some from Alaska and Colorado, and one of them is a little boy 1 year old, he smells funny and I had to stay on the outside of a pen so I couln't lick him too much. Go fugure :- I love showers with my mom and riding the mower with her is such fun. Life is good.

Well, I'm almost 6 months old and I live with my mom and dad and of course Lucy in a great house that has two doggy doors and a very large fenced yard. We get to sleep in their King size bed with them. I love taking all my indoor toys and soft stuffed babies out the doggy doors. I love to run through the garden as fast as the wind and jump the corn, some times I miss and land on top of one and dad scoldes me, but that doesn't slow me down, I just keep running till I drop in my paw tracks. We have lots of people come to our house cause mom sells eggs, and that reminds me, THE CHICKENS, I love to chase them, boy do I get in trouble. I use to jump on people when they would come buy eggs, but mom said---no one likes a dog that jumps on them, no matter how cute he or she is, sooooo I don't do that any more.
I like to bark at kids on bikes, but the best thing ever, Two pigs got out of their pen down the street, they came to our house and put their noses through the fence, I took a bite on it and WOW that pig made the awfulest noise and ran back down the road. I thought I might be in trouble but mom said that was okey and then they laughed really hard.
Next door are really great grandparents, they have a poodle, she is 13 years old and doesn't like me much she bites my nose when I jump on top of her in her bed, she's pretty fast for being so old.. Grandma is soft and gentle and Grandpa is loud and pretty gruff and pats my head kinda hard. They always have treets for me and Lucy when we visit.
We had lots of visitors in May and June, was fun meeting lots of family.
I have to admit~~I hate my collar!~~ I don't have to wear it in our yard but I do when we go to the Groomer, I have to wear my rabies tag on it incase I bite anyone. NOT. I would never do that. I have to wear it to the Vets , I don't like it there at all. Smells ikky and they do wierd things to my behind. Sometimes mom forgets to take my collar off when we get home, so I just lay on my back and waite for her to take it off, I think she makes me wear it longer each time on purpose. HUMMMM
I went to the groomers today and what is worse than the collar is that awful bandana, why, I just don't see the purpose.
I just learned how to ride on the big mower with mom, it's kinda noisy but I'm not scared. I love new adventures and I look forward to new ones every day. Life is good. Sadie
