The Life of Rocco

Today has been a great day so far. I got to sleep in with Mom and then we layed in bed for awhile afterwards; I love sleeping in and laying under the covers. We got up and ate breakfast or maybe brunch because it was late. Then Mom took me to PetsMart to get some stuff for the cats. Then we went to Petco to get some treats and baked goodies for me. I love the little chocolate chip cookies for dogs that they have, I swear its real chocolate, but Mom says its not. I think humans just want all the chocolate for themselves and thats why they say that we can't have it. Dad should be getting home from work soon, so I'm resting up right now so that we can play a lot when he gets home. I love saturdays!

Today started off great. Mom stayed home and we slept in until 11:30 AM. Dad was gone though, so I missed him; but he came home around 5:00 and I gave him lots of love, but just 1 kiss (I save my kisses for very special occasions.) Mom took me for a long walk around the pond which was fun. We spent some time on the balcony, but it was really hot outside so I wanted to go back in and relax on my pillow. I played with the cats a little, but that "Cleo" she is always so prissy. Overall I would say it was a pretty good day.
