Arrival Story:
Hank was found wandering the streets of Eagle Rock in Los Angeles. When a neighbor took him in, we were told that he needed a home. We said, "Let him stay with us for the night," even though we had a no-pet policy. We fell in love and told our landlord it's us or the dog.
Bio:
Hank was frightened by fireworks on Cinco de Mayo and was lost to us after he escaped from our backyard. He was missing for five long, horrible, grueling days. We didn't sleep, cried our eyes out, put up 400+ fliers, approached every dogwalker we saw with 4x6s... Three kids found him cowering by the 101 freeway, oblivious to the reward poster 50 yards from them. Hank was wearing his collar and they called us. And, yes, we still paid them the reward.
