I won the "Spit My Coffee Award"!

I'm in the group Simple Scraps 4 Dogs & Cats. It's a fun group and the people there are so nice. They have a weekly challenge. We all make one picture with a theme that Zoe picks for us. All the people there are so talented. I call myself an artist in training...coz I'm still learning lots of new things. So, this week I made my picture for the challenge..the theme was Outerspace. Me & Mom gave it a lot of thought and then we came up with the idea of making a scrap of me as an astronaut on the Moon. Well we all know that the moon is made of green cheese, so I was on the Moon with all the moon mice. Zoe must have liked my picture because she awarded me the "Spit My Coffee Award"..she said the coffee was almost coming out of her nose. I bet that would burn!!!

Jack & Mommy paid us a visit!

On Sat. while Dad was out weeding the flower bed in the front yard a couple of pugs paid him a visit. They just appeared out of nowhere. We live on a busy road(they were lucky they didn't get hit by a car) so Dad put them in our fenced yard to keep them safe. They were having a good ole time..running, sniffing and playing. Mom & Dad thought "What are we going to do with 2 more pugs? We've got to find their owner!' Mom remembered seeing a pug down the road at a garage and thought maybe that's where these mystery pugs belonged. Dad hopped on his bike and pedaled down there to find out. That's where Jack & Mommy(we found out their names) belonged but the man didn't want them anymore. He asked Dad if he wanted them. Dad said"I already have 2 pugs but if you don't want them there's a rescue that will find them a good home." On Monday Mom & Dad brought Jack & Mommy back to our house and later our human Sissy Juli picked them up and took them to their foster home. Kitty & I checked them out before they left. We thought they were pretty cute. The folks think they'll find their forever homes very soon. Who could resist them? They've got to go to the Vet. first and get all their shots and get spayed & neutered so they'll be healthy for their new human. They'll be on Kentuckiana Pug Rescue's website when they are ready for adoption..be sure and check them out.

I'm the Pal of the Week on Artistic Expressions!

Finally, something exciting has happened to me. It's been awhile since I've had anything to write about. My life can be boring at times but it's not gonna be boring for this week! My family at Artistic Expressions has chosen me as the Pal of the Week! I'm the group's logo for the week. So when you go to their page, I'll be right up there with the group's name. Little old me! I can't wait to tell Dad my good news. He's coming home tomorrow...finally!! He's gonna be as proud of me as Mom is. "I'm the Pal of the Week!"
