Why doesn't Louie like me?

One of my human brudder's dogs doesn't like me. He's a big shephard mix and his name is Louie. I like him but he doesn't like me at all. The first time I met him I wanted to smell him all the time. He just has a smell I really like. Well he thought it was time to show me who the boss was and he growled at me and hovered over me. You know my folks thought it was my fault but they soon found out it wasn't. My brudder Jeff moved to Buffalo NY and his dogs were still here in South Bend. I still can't figure out why anyone would want to leave South Bend!! Well back to my story. It was time to move Louie & Boutros to NY and we were in charge of moving them. The boys(that's what we call Louie & Boutros)got to ride in the back of the truck. They had the cap over them and we even put carpet on the floor. Me & Furby got to ride in the little seat behind the folks. We made it to Buffalo and went inside brudders new house. I was walking around and checking everything out. I went over to Graham(Louie's other Dad) and Graham started to pet me. Well Louie didn't like that at all. He did the growling and hovering thing again. Boy does Louie have big teeth!! My folks rescued me from that big old Louie. Things settled down and then it happened again. So it was decided Furb, the folks & I would camp out on the 3rd, floor away from Louie. We had our own little apartment but we had no furniture. Furb & I got carried outside to do our business so my feet never touched the floor if Louie was around. The best part of the whole trip was that me & Furby got to sleep on the air mattress with the folks. We all had fun in our own little apartment and I was safe from any Louie attacks.

Dad's coming home today!

The day has finally arrived! It's here and my Dad is coming home. He's been gone way too long. 12 days..count 'em 12 days without my Dad and all the extra treats he sneaks me. I love sitting on his lap and staring at the pocket he keeps all those tasty little treats in. That's what I'm gonna be doing tomorrow. Mom said I won't get to see him until Monday. He's getting home late tonight and I'll be sleeping. Well Dad be prepared to hear some barking and whining outside the bedroom door early Monday morning. There will be no sleeping in for you. 12 days without my Dad is 12 days too many.

I got First Place!!

Today is really starting out great. Here's what happened. I got on Dogster this morning and I saw where someone had given me a trophy. I'm wondering 'What's this trophy all about?' So I clicked on this mysterious trophy and read where I'm the "First Place" winner for the St. Paddy's Day Photo Parade on FLOP. Then I read my pawmail and I won a dress!!! Some of my pals are winners too. Can't wait to see how the rest of my day goes!
