Walking Adventures

This has been an interesting week. Tuesday I final found out what Mom has been calling the “spa”. Much to my dismay it was just the groomers that I have been to before but this time Hera came with me. This was her first time. I think she did a great job. She looks so cute with her bandana. I lost what little fur I had grown and now I look like a big rat. Mom thinks I look cute. At least Mom won’t try to comb me for awhile. Yes I have a bandana too. It’s very manly.
Last night we went for an adventurous walk. We meet up with a German Shepard. He picked me and put me back down. It was a little fun to fly through the air in the mouth of a Shepard. Then Hera came in to save the day. She wasn’t going to let the Shepard take me out. Later a chocolate lab followed us around. He was nice. We think he found his family.
Dad is leaving for the weekend. So we will be home alone with Mom for a little while. Then Aunt Katie and Cousin Grace will visit for a couple of days. We should have a good weekend looking forward to Dad coming home to rescue us.

My 4th Birthday

Last Tuesday was my 4th birthday. Mom did a great job. She took us to the park for a great walk. I got to see the ducks. I really wanted to play with them, but Mom wouldn’t let me jump in the pond. Then we made treats, which we shared with our friends, Napoleon and Sapphire. Sapphire I hear really liked the treats. She tried to use a bath towel to scale the cabinets to get to the treats. We got to have popcorn and watched Puppy Bowl II. Those puppies are so funny. But the best was when Dad officially adopted us as his children. We adopted Dad for our Dad for his birthday. So, now we are one big happy family.
