Neurological stuff

My mom rushed me to ER a few weeks ago. I was walking in tight circles for no reason and seemed out of it.
But I acted normal in front of the vet! And she was stumped.
Then we went home and I did it again. But my mom video-d me and showed the vet the next day.
The vet was surprised - how could I just act so normal while at her office???

I seem fine now. But we will be seeing a neuro vet very soon.

Whew!! Glad that's over!!

I had THREE teeth pulled!!! They were feeling funny beforehand so I'm glad my mouth doesnt hurt anymore.
I only have ONE tooth left!!!

I have to eat soft stuff til my mouth heals then we will experiment with harder food and treats.

The best thing is I am Healthier and my icky doggie breath is GONE!!!!

I get my teeth cleaned tomorrow!

I am getting my teeth cleaned but my mom is a Nervous Nellie about it. I hope it goes well and that they dont pull too many because I think I only have 4 teeth as it is!!!

Superbowl Party at My HOuse!!!

HI!! The unbeaten New England Patriots are in the SUperbowl and the party is at MY house!!!

My mom is having some people over including my Uncle Gary and My Aunt Maureen! I am psyched! there will be lots of snacks for sure!!! I think the house will smell like food for days - with mom baking and cooking - YEA!!!

I also went to an awesome Chihuahua Meetup at Nancy and Peanut's house recently! I hope to see them again really soon.

My bum problem :(

Hi guys!
I am doing SO much better than last week!
I had an abscessed anal gland. It hurt and I was sad. We went to the vet and got bubblegum flavored antibiotic liquid to drink and also some bum cream. It has now been 10 days and I feel SO much better. My mom mixes the bubblegum stuff with some Frosty Paws ice cream and it helps me keep the medicine down. Eating doggie ice cream twice a day is FUN (even if there is medicine in it!)

I sure hope the shaved spot on my bum grows back some fur before it starts getting FROSTY cold here in Boston!

I forgot to mention . . .
I won a trophy once!
I was at the Manchester Animal Shelter's (in NH) Pet Walk fair in 2005 and I competed in a few competitions.
My finest hour was in the obedience competition. My mom asked me to sit and I raised my leg and peed. I won FIRST PRIZE for Least Obedient Dog!!

I love Spring!

I love Spring in Boston!
My mom takes me out to Castle Island in South Boston.
I can walk on the beach (until May when it closes to doggies).
I walk on the boardwalk and around the island, even out on the fishing pier. But I usually get tired and mom has to carry me for the rest of the walk . . .

I meet lots of people especially little old ladies and kids

It's a real hoot and I usually end up sleeping all the way home because I'm so worn out.

Take Your Dog to Work Day!

Yesterday was take your dog to work day! This was a national day - the 7th annual. My mom found it on the internet. She tried to get her old bosses to let me go to work on this day in years past but they said no.
But her new boss said yes after I made s urprose visit for a couple of hours last week! He thought I was nice and well behaved.
So you know what I think about work? It's a LONG day!
There were alot of people and so much going on I never really got the chance to take a good long nap. Mom says my eyes looked really droopy at the end of the day. Her coworkers were so nice and bought me a ball and cookies. I ate so much! I even ate in the lunchroom but WOW its a long day for an old man like me!
