OK, Mommy and Daddy brought home the new car last night. They took all of us out and showed it to us, but it was too near bedtime to go for a ride, but they said we could all go get ice cream this weekend .... I can't wait! It has a really funny smell though, but I'll bet that will change once Eddie gets in it. It looks like it has plenty of room for all of us to have our "personal space". Mommy is going today to get some blankies for the seats so we'll be more comfortable. Is it the weekend yet (and just what is a weekend by the way)? If I'm real good, they might even drive through MickeyD's and get us a cheeseburger (plain, please!). I'll have my digits crossed! I might be liking this car thing after all!

Mommy went out yesterday for awhile and when Daddy came home, they both left again (I hate being left out of the loop!) When they came home, I heard them talking about a new car, actually a van! I heard Daddy telling Mommy that he really liked the one they looked at because it had plenty of room for the three of us furbabies when we all want to go to the beach and he liked the door access it had for Earnie who has trouble getting around to higher places like our other cars. By the way ..... what's a beach?
Now, I'm not a big fan of this "car" thing. When I first came to live with my wonderful Mommy and Daddy, Mommy put me in the car to take me to see Doctor Bill. Of course, I had no idea at the time that she was taking me there even though she told me over and over that we were only going to the doctors and would be back home before I knew it. Hey, what was I to think? I found this wonderful house with my new wonderful Mommy and Daddy, and there they were taking me away again. OK, looking back I can see now that I was being totally irrational, and became a bit hysterical over the whole ordeal, actually, so bad that Mommy had to turn around half way there and bring me back home because I was so scared and she didn't want me to be afraid (What a good Mommy, see, I told you she was wonderful.). After that episode, she and Daddy would take me on wee tiny little rides and tell me the whole time we were gone that I would go back home, and guess what ..... I always did! So now, I'm not that afraid of this "car" thing. Hearing about this "beach" has me a bit perplexed though, but I'm sure Mommy and Daddy will make it fun for us.
Anyway, back to the new car subject (I get off track sometimes!). Mommy says it's alot bigger then the Jeep or our other two cars and has two doors that slide open and lots of room for all three of us babies and it isn't as high for Earnie to get in and out of. She told us we can even watch TV in it and we have our own air conditioning .... wow! Earnie is all excited because he loves going in the car, he's done it since he was a tiny puppy, and he's got to go to this "beach" before. Eddie even likes this car thing .... maybe I need to get more used to it. Well, I don't think they made a final decision yet on which one they want, but I'll keep you updated! Who knows ... maybe I can get use to this "Car" thing after all!

Mommy had to take Grandma to the hospital (poor Grandma, I know how she feels! I hope she doesn't come home with a big plastic neck-thing on, that'll really hinder her treat-giving abilities!) today and when she came home, she had a new designer raincoat just for me. Good thing, because it's been raining, pardon the expression ;-), cats and dogs around here lately and I totally dread getting wet! So now I can be both dry and fashionable, it even has a hoodie.
Eddie called me a Diva, again. He is sooooo jealous, a typical baby brother. But big brother Earnie thinks I look stunning, he's such a sweety. OK, gonna go see if Mommy will put one of my new bandanas on today, I think I'm feeling like blue!
