Bum Bum Bumble Bee, Bumble Bee .....Maggie

Came in from an early evening walk and what is sticking to Maggie's chin? Welll,,,,,I thought it was a little flower - but noooooo, it was a little bubble bee! A baby bubble bee but still a potential danger to my beloved angel! I grabbed it out without a sting (I hope). I can certainly understand why the little creature would want to get close to Maggie's lips - they are as sweet as honey of course!!!!! (I know, pathetic! LOL)

Paw Prints...

Is it me or does everyone have to give their Maltese's foot baths when they come in from a walk? Maggie especially, she is so low to the ground and she comes in from walks with dirty paws. She immediately knows the command "time to get your paws cleaned" - she follows me to the kitchen and we fill a bowl with water and a little puppy shampoo - she obliges me by lifting each foot into the bowl - it is the cutest thing! The pathetic look she gives me however, tells me she feels this ritual is quite tortureous. Her sister Jillie, on the other hand, runs around the house escaping me - she doesnt make it easy to clean her paws - its a race to outmaneuver each other - I usually win by promising a treat and a trip out onto the back deck - she falls for it every time (he he he).
