Arrival Story:
Bernie was the runt (13oz @ 6 wks.) of a liter of 4. I fell in love with her the moment I saw her at my fiancee's brothers home. I took her and her sister Maggie home, from Wyoming to Oregon and she is such a happy little girl. No longer a runt, she's now my little butterball so we have to watch the treats... like her human mama.
Bio:
Bernie and Maggies mom was a registered Chihuahua and their dad was a registered Pomeranian, so, they are little Pomchi girls.

I'm constantly wanting attention, hug, petting; lap-time, praises, etc. and if I don't get it when I want it, I throw a temper tantrum. Yup, throw myself on the floor, start growling and wiggling all around; sometimes it works... My mom just looks at me then walks away (sometimes I see her turn her head to hide a chuckle).

We went to the beach yesterday. When we first got there dad wanted to drive on the beach, but mom didn't like the look of the sand; dad drove on the beach anyway and got stuck... Mom and Dad tried to get the car out but it wouldn't move, so mom took us out of the car and walked down towards the ocean. Mom was really nervous because there were so many trucks and SUV's driving along the beach near were we had our blanket spread out. Alfie almost got hit, the driver had to slam on his brakes so he wouldn't hit Alfie! Finally a nice man and his daughter pulled our car out and we drove to another part that didn't allow driving on the beach. It was much nicer and mom finally relaxed, so we had a great day after all! Mom thinks driving on the beach is unnatural and doesn't like it at all. I don't like it either cause it's dangerous for us little guys; children and animals. The beach was great we played, ran, walked so much! We met some nice people and nice doggies too! We had such a nice day and when we got home we were ready to sleep the night away. I love the beach!

I know we are going to the big park today 'cause it's sunny out today. I'm so looking forward to it! It has been raining for days and I'm ready to get out and have some fun. It's not the beach but almost as good... Well, Alfie, he's a bit much for me right now so I just stay away from him. I like to chill and take things easy, relax, get some good lap time but HE is always bugging me to play with him. Sometimes he gets down right pushy about it; so, I just ignore him.

I went to the Dr.'s today to get my teeth cleaned and they had to pull one out 'cause it was loose. No cavities though! I was so happy when mom came to pick me up and Monty was with them too. Oh, I was so happy to see them! The whole way home I was happy and then when we got to the house I just couldn't wait to get out of the car. I was jumping and making little noises (excited noises) until my door was opened. Then I jumped out and ran to the gate as fast as I could. I'm so happy to be home.
