Hello Abby-verse, have you missed me? Today is Abby Day, can you believe it? It has been four years since I adopted momma and dad. Four years, wow I am getting old.
The last year or so has been amazing. I am now legally the older, cuter and furrier sister of a toddler boy who adores me. Obviously, his first word was "Abby" -- the boy knows who runs the house. I enjoy spending most of my time with him. He loves to hug me, kiss me, bite me (I don't like that but I tolerate it) and of course to play with me. The fact that he worships and adores me are implied. I have all sorts of fun toys now that I share with him.
I am still working on my laundry addiction. The boy does not help with my addiction. His laundry is the most wonderful, awesome, mind altering smelling laundry I have ever smelled.
Have a great howliday.

Abby-fans have you seen my momma? Evidently momma is reading the Twilight books for her book club so no one sees her. Momma you are not a 15 year old girl, come back to us.....

In the Abby-verse today is the most wonderful day of the year. I of course speak of Abby-Day the day that I adopted Momma and Dad. Boy did they need me, just between us they were pretty boring before me. What with all that free time they had and sleeping in. Crazy.
So today we celebrate 3 years together. This last year has been wonderful, we are in the process of adopting a baby boy (who I adore) he is still tiny but I am sure he will adore me pretty soon.
Have a great Abby Day.

I have finally won over all our cousins. When they moved here in August all three of them were scared of dogs. Slowly I used my charm to win them over, one at a time but there was one hold out the youngest. Then yesterday we had a break-through. Not exactly sure how it happened but she fell hard. Hugging and kissing me and crying because I had to leave. Let me just say it is totally awesome to be me today.
Anyway, Momma made a funny slide show on this check it out.

I was tagged by Wave (224715).
Here are the Tag rules. Each player starts with seven facts about themselves. Dogs that are tagged need to post in their diary the rules and their seven facts. Then choose seven dogs to tag and list their names. Don't forget to send them a pmail that they have been tagged and to read your diary, or, send them a Rosette telling them they've been tagged.
Fun Abby facts:
1. I suffer from severe laundry addiction. I have entered laundry rehab more times than I can count but it has yet to take.
2. I hate water and getting wet.
3. I suffer from Thunderfobia. When it starts to storm, I try to sit on my momma’s head.
4. I love to play with little kids, but the ‘pup gods’ have punished me with little cousins that are scared of dogs.
5. I am addicted to squeak toys, love them.
6. On a recent trip to the Texas Hill Country I tried to chase down a grouping of deer. I was determined to take them down despite the fact they outnumbered me or were three times my size. Silly momma wouldn’t let me.
7. I like to hide under my parent’s bed. It is my very own cave that hippo and I love to play in.
OK, I am tagging these fellow Dogsters:

Momma got an email from the wonderful lady that saved me at the shelter about Lone Star Boxer Rescue in Houston TX. They are having some tough financial times, they are unable to rescue any new dogs and may have to close. They have turned away 10 poor dogs already.
Check out the website to see if you can help

Merry Christmas Pup-pals!
Santa is coming tonight! I am so excited. I can't wait until tomorrow. Our cousins are coming to open presents, I will open presents, then we will have an awesome dinner, there is a can of 'turkey dinner' on the counter. The waiting is torture.
I wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and a blessed new year.

Hi pups,
I had the most awesome adventure; I went on a road trip with my dad. Dad and I drove from Texas to Illinois; I have now graced three more states with my Abby-ness. It was too fun. I love car rides, so imagine my excitement at getting to spend 8 hrs in the car. Dad did stop every few hours to let we walk around, mark new territory, etc.
Momma didn't ride with us but met us at the airport at the end of the trip. It seems momma doesn't like long car trips. That’s cool; it was more time for me to bond with my dad. I had some great experiences at some great doggie friendly hotels-I even got my own bed. Everywhere I went people fell in love with me. I even got lucky in Quincy instead of waiting in the truck; I was able to visit the Villa Katherine. It is this cool house built on the Mississippi that looks like a castle. The man who built it lived there with his dog until his dog died then he moved out so it was a cool place to visit. Momma was excited to take a tour with me.
It was a great trip but it is good to be home.

Hello to the Abby-verse. On December 3, I celebrated by second anniversary with Momma and Dad!! It is a huge day at our house.
It started with treats, a nice long walk then dog park. All activities were filled with snuggles and kisses from Momma. We ended the day with our little cousins coming over for birthday cake. It was fun but they are STILL scared of dogs so I had to be put in my room, while they ate my birthday cake. So not cool.
The next morning we woke up and celebrated Momma's birthday. It is not as big a day as my birthday but it was fun. I got to wear the birthday hat and bandana again and give lots of kisses to my Momma. I love my Momma so it was fun to celebrate our big days.
Hope you have a great week
Abby
