Arrival Story:
We had many conversations about adopting a dog, but fell in love with Daisy when we stumbled on her by chance at a Milo Foundation adoption event in March 2004. We took her for a trial adoption and she put up with us painting the house during her first week in residence. She is so sweet, very well trained, and only barks at appropriate times. She gets a lot of attention and flirts with all the humans at the dog park and in her neighborhood. No answer yet to the question on everyone's minds. A dalmation and a dachsund? Who's your daddy, Daisy?
Bio:
Prior to being saved by Milo Foundation, Daisy apparently had a few litters. If her puppies are half as sweet as she, there are some lucky dog owners out there.
Daisy had a mammary tumor removed shortly after we adopted her. She recovered nicely, and rests well with the news that it was a completely benign growth.
