Favorite Walk: Around the park (although he doesn't really have much choice)
Best Tricks: Flapping his ears when I look at him, "hiding" rawhide chips in front of the couch, going into his bed on command, burping
Arrival Story: I went to the Associated Humane Societies of Newark, NJ to adopt the 1-year-old cocker spaniel i had seen the week before. Problem was that there were 5 other people with the same idea. So I decided to look around at what other dogs were there, and there was Gordo, sitting quietly in his cage just waiting to be taken out. So I took him out to play and he came home with me an hour later!
Bio: When I adopted Gordo, his previous owners had obviously not taken good care of him. The hair on his back legs and his tail was very badly matted, so he had a hard time walking. He didn't eat for 2 days until he learned that dog food was for him. But now he's very handsome with his new haircut and he's learning to go for walks and be a dog again!
