Arrival Story:
Molly came to her forever family through the Kentuckiana Pug Rescue. She had been used as a breeder until she could no longer produce healthy puppies and was turned over to a humane society who contacted KPR. We say her "birthday" is July 17, 2005 because that is the day she came home, but she was about 4 1/2 when she came to us. Molly had no socialization, but over the past year, has learned what unconditional love is and has blossomed into a beautiful little girl who is no longer a wallflower. She loves attention and to give kisses! Molly loves her canine brothers, Barney and Clyde Patches. She's enjoying being spoiled rotten! Her girlish figure has 'filled out' quite a bit since she came home, so she's now on a diet for that. She loves riding in her doggy-stroller and loves to sit in her canine car-seat that her Aunt Sissy gave to her.
Bio:
Adopted July 17, 2005 from Kentuckiana Pug Rescue (we consider that her "happy birthday") at 4 1/2 years old. Two Canine Brothers: Clyde Patches (5 years old) and Barney Rubble (20 months old) Two Feline Sisters: Belle (11+years) and Bridgette (6 years), a human sissy, Jenn, Brother in law, James, and a pesky canine nephew, Cody Robert (3 years).

April 1st...no joke!! Oh my pugness!! What an honor to be chosen the Dog of the Day here on Dogster. I am flattered and truly humble...thank you for this terrific recognition. Dog of the Day! (Wonder if DaMomma told them that I am not a dog...I a Queen Bee around our castle!!) Oh my!!

With the economy being so bad, it's starting to put many back yard breeders out of business, which is good, except that some without a conscious or care for the dogs they have are dumping them. Please visit http://www.midwestpugrescue.com and read about the cause. They could use any assistance that they can possibly get, especially if you are in the area. Thanks so much!!!

Many, many, many thanks to all of my Dogster friends for all of the Rosettes, Special gifts, and notes of well wishes for my Happy Birthday. You all helped make it special. It was bitter-sweet for me, as my DaSissy and DaBrudder were leaving to go back to Hawaii. They left Cody at a place called a 'kennel' and were really missing him lots, so their vacation time was up and they had to go back, which made us all sad, but we were happy for my birthday, too!
