Another day, another dollar

Oh gosh! it's been forever since mommy's written me a diary entry:) i'm doing absoloutly fabulous. I've gotten to the point where i'm actually overweight, and i have to lose a couple pounds, but that's waaaaay better than i was before:) Lately there have been many trips to the petstore. Mommy says it's because she's buying me my christmas presents, but she never tells me what they are! she says i just have to be patient. I hate being patient. Mommy also took me out to the park today! we got to see all of the lovely fall foliage. we had so much fun!

a touching poem

I found this poem on the Abandoned Angels forum, that i'm a member of. It touched my heart, knowing that i have done this for ALL of my babies taht live with me, it means that much more to me. I would like to share it with all of you:

I would've Died that day if not for you



I would've given up on life, if not for your kind eyes.
I would have used my teeth in fear, if not for your gentle hand.
I would have left this life, believing that all humans don't care.
Believing there is no such thing as fur that isn't matted...
Skin that isn't flea bitten, Good Food and anough of it...

The Misha Monster returns in her entirety

Misha is almost completely recovered, and returned back to her mischief causing, fun-loving self again!! I'm so happy! thanks to everyone who helped me through this with sound advice and moral support and prayers! I love you all!

Aaaahhhh! The Misha Monster!

Misha is doing fantastic! I got her de-worming medication today, and the lady said it'll only take three days to work! on another note, it's almost like Misha's done a complete 360! She's up and running around, drinking water, and eating food like she's the "Misha Monster". I'm so happy right now.

So Much Better

Mish seems to be doing a lot better! We're still not sure what she has, and i haven't seen her drink any water, but she's getting IV's from the vet, and she's eating up a storm! That, i'm happy about at least:) she's running around and wanting to go outside and play! She seems so much better, hopefully she'll make a full recovery soon!

Pray for Misha

I took Misha to the vet's office today. The past couple days Misha's been really sick. We found out that not only is she undernourished, but she may also have canine distemper. She got her shot against Canine Distemper while she was at the Warden's office, but it may have been too late. Canine Distemper is a dangerous illness that can lead to other illness such as Pnuemonia, and seizures. The worst part of it is that it can settle itself in a dog's nervous system and re-occur later down the road in illness and seizures. I'm not sure if it's deadly in it of itself, but i know that Pnuemonia can be deadly. the vet said that it COULD(and hopefully is) just a bad case of kennel cough, and if that's the case, she'll be better in no time. She also said that it could be Influenza, which is also deadly. If it turns out that it is Canine Distemper, or Influenza, i WILL get up the money for proper treatment, no matter the cost. Right now i need everyone to keep Misha in their prayers, and hope for the best. thank you.

Misha's new home!

When we Took Misha home the other day, from the County Dog Warden's office, she was scared to come out of her kennel, and all of the barking from the other dogs was frightening her. When we got her home, and showed her her new crate, she went in there, and spent the entire day in it. She wouldn't come out. Today, it's almost like she's a different dog! this is the second day we've had Misha, and she's doing great! She's eating somewhat normally, she's getting along great with our cats and other dog, and she even left the comfort of her kennel to explore the rest of the house! I'm trying to find a high fat and protein content food to feed her for her "weight gain" diet, to fix what her previous owners did to her. She's attatched herself to me at the hip:) and will follow me everwhere...she even wanted to come in the car with me today! more updates to come!
