Arrival Story:
bea was a rescue that was being fostered by a friend of mine's sister. i fell in love with her. i had to work hard to talk my husband into getting another dog. he felt we needed a break...after about 25 years of marriage and two children we had over the years also had 4 dogs, 3 cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, lizards, chickens, nubian goats, an angora goat and a sheep! now the children were grown and had moved out he thought a break was in order! so all was quiet for a few years. then beatrice! he loves being around her just as much as me and probably, well i know he does, spoils her more than me. just this past november we have added a stray kitten into our lives...gypsy. so much for the break! :)
Bio:
the rescue programs are such a wonderful thing. bea is the smartest, most well trained dog we have ever had. she gives us so much love and is totally funny and fun to be with! this is one of the best things i have ever done in my life.
