Dear Chu, when the SPCA called and said they had a pug and would I be interested, I came right away to see you. That day, you were scared, but didn't mind that you were in a strange car with a strange person. We stopped at Petco to get you some food and treats and then went home. You settled right in, playing and jumping on the couch. The first night you didn't want to sleep in your crate so we let you share the big bed. Now it has been almost 5 months that you have lived here. There isn't a single day that goes by that I do not think of how lucky we are to have you here. You sleep in the bed with us all night, sometimes pushing us so you have all the room. You play so mean with the blankets and the socks, but you cuddle up so warmly. All the neighbors love you and you are always so nice to everyone. You bark at the people walking by if you are in the house, I know you are telling them that this is your home. You know that daddy fell in love with you the first second he saw you, and I know that you love him as well. I don't know how I got so lucky as to have you, but I know that the day I adopted you was one of the best days of my life. You make me so happy.
