Howdy,
Yesterday, June 18, 2006, I turned 2! A lot has happened in my two years with my family. My brother Hank and my sister Sadie went over the Rainbow Bridge and I got a new relative, Cheyenne. Cheyenne is my aunt but I do not understand how this is possible because she just turned 5 months old on the day I turned 2 years old. Oh well, I guess this is just another thing in the human world I was not meant to understand, like why my humans get to eat sittting down and their food is different almost every night while mine is pretty much the same each day. I guess I should be happy they feed me 'cause I hear there are a lot of dogs out there that do not get to eat every day or sleep in the bed with their humans like I get to do. Heck, when it comes right down to it, I think I am doing better than a lot of dogs I hear my humans talk about. I get to stay inside, with a/c, during the day, they take me to the doctor when I do not feel good, I live with three other dogs (of course I feel this number could increase any day 'cause my humans seem to be bringing home dogs a lot more than I think necessary). I have some great friends who live across the dirt road. They are Lucy (black and tan daschund), Thor (red daschund), and Linus (an attractive male, but I am fixed, daschund mix). Also, I have some friends who just moved in next door, Sara (black and tan daschund), Anna (black and tan daschund), Jack (red daschund) [does anyone beside me see a trend here?], Lucky (Yorkie), and Robbie (mutt-but we do not hold this against him). Oh well, enough about me, my house mates, and neighbors for now. I will write again soon. It was hard enough to type all of this without having thumbs!
