Arrival Story:
We got Maya when she was a puppy. We were in the mall looking for chinchillas at a pet store when we noticed they also had puppies. Up til that day, I would never have bought a puppy from a pet store, let alone a purebred. But my husband always loved Bostons and a female Boston was on the plan to get one day. Then we saw this beautiful little Boston in the viewing window. The pet store let us play with "him" (they told us he was a boy). "He" had the most precious markings ever and was as cute as can be. After asking many questions of the pet store about where they acquire the puppies from, we went home sans dog since that was not the agenda for the day, plus the puppy was a boy. But... later that night, we began talking and talking about the cute little puppy and realized that boy or girl, we wanted that little puppy no matter. Next day, I called to ensure no one had bought "him" and the attendant told me it was a girl. I took that as a sign and we raced back to the store added her to our family. She has been the more joy than we could have ever expected and she is the apple of Daddy's eye.

Bio:
We named her Maya after the Mayan Riviera which is one of the most beautiful places on Earth (and I like Spanish names).
