They had been wanting to adopt for a while, and were looking for something called a "PUG", because that is what Pappa wanted and would agree to get. A friend of theirs brought them their baby girl Soda for a visit (a miniature shnauzer too), and Pappa was smitten. He decided that we were A.O.K. too. So mom changed her nick on her messenger saying that she was "looking for a dog" and a friend of theirs from high school told her that her girl Dasty, had pups and that one of them still needed to be placed and asked Mamma if she was interested, and of course, he was a miniature schnauzer (me). Mamma says she fell in love with me at first sight and that she just had to take me home with her no matter what. I wasn't really sure at first, because I was worried I would miss my mom, but I got used to my new home really fast and we've been a happy family ever since. Bio: I was named Babe by the people who first raised me, but since that was what Pappa called Mamma since they were in high school, they decided to change it to something less confusing for all of us. They thought a German name would suit me better anyway, and chose to call me Fritz.
