Arrival Story:
Winston was at Petland here in town. He was four months old and they could not find a home for him. Winston's price was cut 75% and still, no one wanted him. He had a hernia at two months old and the vet went ahead and neutered him, which meant and his growth was slightly stunted. He was so cute and when we walked by his cage, he licked the glass and wanted so bad to be taken out. We talked about it and decided Lexi needed a friend. She would cry when we left her alone so they were a perfect match...until we realized Lexi was a super jealous puppy.

Daddy took me for a walk to day. He said that I had to get a permit, something I have to wear on my collar showing that I paid to live in the complex too. Lexi has one and I want one too. I was so excited, just me and daddy. We had so much fun, I saw so many friendly faces in the lobby but boy was Lexi mad when we got back. She tore up so much stuff in so little time. I went hide when I saw what she did because I knew daddy would fuss at her. I just know she is going to ignore me for the rest of the day.

During my first week to come home to my family I was so excited. There were so many new toys to play with and new bones to chew. I realized I had a big sis but I didn't mind very much. She was mean to me and picked fights with me all of the time. I found one toy that I just loved and chewed it to pieces. Little did I know, that was Lexi's first baby toy and she had been saving that one because it was her favorite. It was so much fun, though. It squeaked and the more the hamburger squeaked the more I wanted to tear it apart...and I did...and Lexi got really mad. Now my sister just walks around the house with the hamburger pieces (I ate the stuffing and that squeaker). Opps, I wonder if she will every forgive me. She hasn't let me forget yet and its been months! (Sigh)
