Woof Everyone!
Wow long time no see. Sorry my mom is so busy. I just had to let you fellow large agilty dogs in on my latest discovery.
Last weekend we went to Dixon AKC Agility Trial (TRACS)
Now normally my least favorite agiltiy obstacle is the tunnel. Is is very hard for my 140 lb girth. But this weekend while my mom was waiting (as well as the judge) for me to exit she was calling me frantically because she thought I was stuck, the way the tunnel was moving back and forth. But NO! I was scratching my back on the top inside of the tunnel.
It felt marvelous. So much so when I finally came out I looked at Mom then at the tunnel and chose the tunnel for one more leisurely back scratch. AHHH...
Then I did a few jumps and then in my own "if it feels good do it" way I plopped down for another roll/scratch on the grass. Except I was a little close to the last jump and timer so I knocked the whole thing over. Opps!
Everyone laughed through my entire run even my mom was shaking her head and laughing.
The Judge told my mom I made her entire day.
Glad I could be entertain!
Woof!

Hi Everyone!
Sorry I have been gone sooo long. My Mom has been keeping us so busy she has not had time to write for me.
But I have really been wanting to brag about my Novice Agility title!
I attended two AKC trials and now I have my Novice Title. The first one I qualified all 4 runs. Thats DOUBLE Q in Agility speak. Both Days!
Wow who new I was soooo hot! I completed one run with a cone in my mouth!
Everyone laughed again, so did my MOM when it was over. She could not believe you could Q with a cone in your mouth.
The last show I sort of was distracted on Saturday but Sunday made up for it by Double Q'ing again. Both first place.
My Mom thinks I am perfect, but she always has. I am though.
We recently attended a camp called Power Paws. It was four days in Turlock with some of the best instructors in the world. It had too many tunnels if you ask me. But I made new friends and so did my Mom. She can hardly wait to go again.
Well that's all for now, Thanks for letting me brag.
Zoe

Oh my God. We went to a place really far away and it was all set up with fun obstacles.
My mom brought my bed and a tent! I stayed in the tent sometimes but could not sleep. There were dogs everywhere. None of them could play. Most of them did not even want to play. Especially those Border Collies. They are obessive, compulsive when it comes to Agility, if you ask me.
They should learn to relax in the ring like I did.
My first run I did two jumps then just before I did the weave poles I spotted this really cool red cone just lying on the ground. I decied to play with that instead. I picked it up and reared up like a horse and everyone laughted and clapped except my mom. She looked really mad and kind of red in the face.
I jumped around with it, but her voice was sounding really angry so I let her take it from me. Then she took me out of the ring. I didn't even get to do the A Frame and that is my favorite!
Everyone kept coming up and laughing with my mom. I heard her say it was a real ice breaker. (What ever!) Someone said "E for Entertainment not Elimination". My mom laughed.
Our next time in the ring I was spectacular (if I do say so my self). My mom was ecstatic. She was so happy she took of her glove and gave it to me.
The Judge moved her hand across her throat, everyone sighed for some reason. I took the glove and began to run around the ring playing keep away with my mom. She didn't look so happy anymore. She kept saying sorry to the judge.
Finally I let her catch me behind the tunnel. I heard her say how embarrasssed she was that we were eliminated because of her.
And I thought my mom was pretty smart. HA!
The last run of the day, I stopped to smell the dirt. It was delightful. My mom didn't like that either. Finally I decided to play with her and finished all the course. I heard mom say we lost to much time while I was sniffing. Why the hurry? Does she think I am a Border Collie or something?
