Likes:
Swimming, eating garbage, playing "deaf" in favor of a solo park adventure, manically swimming after humans, barking when tied up, eating pizza/sandwiches off the table/out of peoples' hands, and lately sleeping a lot and being rubbed and sweet talked.

Pet-Peeves:
Aging, slowing down, and going blind. Most specifically not being able to swim on top of people or go hiking anymore. Formerly: lighting storms

Mink Island trails & Magnusen Park in Seattle.

Arrival Story:
At age 13 (8th grade) I used to take the Metro home from school.The bus stop was in front of the Wallingford Center, and Cavu and her siblings were in the window of a pet store there. She was the spunkiest, most energetic little cutie. I thought about her all week, then waited until my mom went out of town and talked my older sister into driving me there to buy Cavu. We picked mom up from the airport with Cavu in the backseat a couple of days later. Let's just say, that eventually mom was won over.

Bio:
She is a pound dog at heart. 3/4 lab, 1/4 bloodhound. Scar on nose from racoon. Raised in Seattle until her retirement to Los Angeles in 2000. Recently developed diabetes and a hypothyroid but the tail is still wagging! Sister of Fly.
