Arrival Story:
Buttons was at the local Animal Shelter, and was scheduled to be put down. I received a call about Buttons, and her 14 year old Maltese sister. Since I was at work, I wasn't able to go get her immediately. Luckily, another Rescue friend, Lynn, went to the shelter and got her for me.
When Lynn went to the shelter, Buttons Maltese sister was VERY ill, and was in alot of pain. Apparently, Buttons "previous" owners decided since Buttons sister was too sick to live, then so was Buttons. It was very sad that we couldn't bring home Buttons AND her sister, but, it was time for her sister to go to "The Rainbow Bridge".
Bio:
Buttons is BEAUTIFUL! She may BE 13, but, she acts as though she is a puppy! She LOVES to run and she LOVES to be held. She had to have all but one of her teeth pulled when she first came to live with me.............she is a trooper! And, a REAL sweetie!
