Arrival Story:
After a couple months following the death of the previous beloved doggy, Shane, who had passed because of cancer at the age of 5, we looked for the perfect next breed. For some reason, the Cane Corso caught our eye and we had enough experience with big dogs to feel comfortable owning one, so we drove up to New Jersey and picked out a puppy. We ended up with Lucas, a Cane Corso, a breed that originated in Sicily, Italy and used to be a wardog.

Guess I've basically abandoned my Dogster, eh? Well, Maggie finally plowed through her E-mail account and accepted all of the pup requests she got. She feels flattered & thanks you guys for the compliments!

Anyway... life has been... life. Nothing big has happened, except that Maggie and her Mom left for a week and left me with the boys. Normally, a little guy bonding would be a good thing, but they were away for the majority of the time, leaving me to entertain myself. I slept the days away and kept an extra sharp eye out for strangers. I probably slept in the out-of-bounds room, the dining room, because it has a great view of the yard. My nails are big and they tend to scratch up the wood floor, so I'm forbidden in there.

But she's back now and I have company! I got to run around in the backyard for a bit and worked off any extra energy I didn't burn from an earlier walk. It's sure scary when I come barreling towards you & turn at the very last second!

My best friend, Maggie, insisted on making me an account that makes me a part of this official dog site. Woot? So, here I am, writing in my very own blog. Actually, I do admit Maggie is typing this, but I have no thumbs - the only flaw in a dog's anatomy, if I do say so myself.

Anyway, as this is a blog and all, I shall speak of my day and what has been troubling me. For one thing, I slept for a majority of, sneaking naps on beds, and walking on the wood floor which are both big no-no's. Then, Maggie gave me some exersise by jumping me. Yes, I am her little pony. It's not too bad, but it is awfully hot, so we didn't do much.

And now, I think I will browse the Cane Corsos of Dogster and see how many dogs share this fabulous breed.

Ta-ta!
