Arrival Story:
After our Standard Poodle, Charlie, died in early 1999 we couldn't rest until we found a breader close to us who had a litter of 4: 2 males and 2 females. We wanted another female and one of them had already been chosen by the breader for show. Maggie chose us before we even knew that she was the available pup!

Bio:
Maggie's an alpha dog but so smart that she doesn't need to make an inssue out of it when she meets other dogs. She shares everyting. Last year she survived bloat. It was a horrible experience, but we caught it in time and rushed her to the emergency clinic. Her stomach had completely flipped and she would have suffered a painful death in a matter of a few more minutes. They stapeled her stomach to the side of her chest so it can't happen again. She's very precious to us.
