Birthday: April 10th 2006 Likes: Luna loves the dog park, chasing the rake and the broom, and playing with her whole family. She loves Dad most, because he lets her get away with everything! Pet-Peeves: Luna doesn't like being chased by the Rhodesian Ridgeback and the Weimareiner at her Dog Park, but she likes just about everything else, oh, and she really doesn't like when she is told not to eat things. Favorite Toy: The Squirrel squeaking toy, with the ball at one end, and a squirrel tail at the other. Favorite Food: Innova Puppy, and organic Liver Snacks Favorite Walk: The off leash park where Ferry Road meets the Assiniboine River Best Tricks: hmmmm. Luna Sit, Paw, Lie Down, Stay! are good ones, but it's also a pretty good trick to make everyone love you. Arrival Story: Luna is my Dad's puppy. After Nutmeg passed away, my mom told me how much her and dad missed having a pup around the house. Their German Shephard, Zoe, passed of old age about 5 years ago, and they are finally ready to have another pup around. Until now, they have enjoyed having Nutter around when I am here, and my mom asked me if I would be able to train Luna for them, since Nutmeg was so fabulous, and since I had trained Zoe for them as well. So she will be here as a surprise for Father's day, and I think she will be perfect. *edit - She is Perfect! Bio: Whispawillow's Lunar Eclipse is her official name. I found her through breeder links, and she flew here for Father's day on the 17th of June, 2006. Forums Motto: Oooh smarty Shepherd, coming your way... So nice of Auntie J to get me a playmate. I have a new puppy friend Daisy to play with all the time. I go to the park very early with Dad, and then go to work with him for a little while, and then we go home for breakfast, and then it is off to the dog park with Mom and Daisy, then Daisy gets dropped off at work, and I go home with Mom, or go driving with Dad, then it is a little walk at noon, and then a nap, and back to the park with Auntie J and Daisy after they come home from work, (we have a ton of fun at the park, and I made Mom buy a Chukka so I can chase the tennis ball, I am actually getting good at bringing it right back) then me and Daisy wrestle all night with a little break at 7:30 for a fresh knuckle bone.
Yaaawn, off to sleep.
Life is good.
She was/is a pest, but I sure do love her, and don't like it when she leaves for work with Auntie J every day. We scrabbled a bit at first, but we have figured it out now, and wrestle like crazy, eat from the same dish (sometimes) and will drink from the same water bowl. I am getting twice as much exercise because I have to protect all my sticks, and leaves, and toys, and bones. It is really nice to have a friend to play with, especially when no other dogs are at the park for me to play with.
